BOTOX® (Botulinum toxin type A) is a bacteria produced medication recently approved by the FDA
"to temporarily improve the appearance of frown lines between the eyebrows". Treatments take only minutes and work by relaxing the muscle tissue that causes brow frown lines. Minimal discomfort is experienced and improvement is noticeable within 1-2 days. Most people are able to return to their daily activity immediately after the procedure. The effects last for up to four months.
